Is it March?

Oh my where did the months go?? Its already MARCH!! We leave for vacation to Disney World in a few short days!!! The boys are so excited and can hardly wait. As for me...the planning and packing are enough to make me want to stay home! I know it will all be well worth it once we get there and get into the excitement of it all.

Todd Michael got to experience his first Valentine's party this year. He thought that delivering his little Valentine's into his classmate's "shoebox mailboxes" was the greatest thing ever. I sat there watching him (with camera in hand of course) and was amazed that he knew every child in his class' name! My 4 year old can read?! He's a genius!!! Hee hee!

Where does the time go?

Today is Jansen's 9th birthday! I just sat there at work this morning, remembering the events of that day back in 1997. How excited and nervous I was to become a mom. I remember laying in that hospital bed wondering what his face would look like, or if he was for sure a boy! I will NEVER forget the unbearable pain of childbirth without drugs, but I will ALWAYS remember seeing him for the first time. And somehow, all that pain just diminished the second they placed him in my arms. I love this picture. It reminds me of the exact moment that I became a mom. Happy Birthday Jansen, I love you very much! XOXO Mom

Christmas Party....4 year old style!

Remember Christmas as a child...the fun and excitement of shredding the wrapping paper?? This year, at Todd's Pre-K party, they had a book exchange. He was quite upset to open his book and find it to be a GIRLY Cinderella book!!! OH the nerve!! He didn't even get it opened all the way before throwing it on the floor, crossing his arms and pouting! Thankfully, another little girl with a Thomas the Train Book (Todd's favorite) traded with him and all was good! Such drama as a 4 year old!! :-)

Courage...

Todd was invited to a friend's birthday party at a gymnastics place. It took him several, frustrating tries to be able to jump across an opening onto the trampoline. Once he did it, he was SO proud of himself and ended up wearing himself out! LOL

In the Big Band!

Brady joined the middle school band this year, playing the trumpet! He auditioned and got first chair!! He's doing really well and sounds pretty good. These pictures are from his recent Christmas concert.

SOOOOO grown up!!!
